Privacy Policy and Terms of Use

The Purple People Collective is an open site. Anything you put up on the site can be seen by anyone else who comes to the site, so if you don’t want people to see it, probably best not to post it. We do collect personal information, but it’s all optional. We won’t sell it to anyone because all they’d have to do to get it anyways is click around a bit. We will NOT show your email address to anyone. We’ll only use it to let you know when someone has contacted you via the contact form.

We believe that people are basically good and that there will be no tomfoolery going on at the Purple People Collective. We want people to use their real names, not spam people, and to behave like responsible adults. If we see something fishy, we’ll try to ask you about it first, but we reserve the right to delete any accounts for any reason at any time with or without notice solely at our discretion. Also, there may come some reason why we have to turn the site off, or shut it down, or make it unavailable. If that happens, we may or may not notify you depending on the circumstances. If we can’t notify you, we’re sorry about that. Or at least we will be.
