Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic Senior Human Resources Generalist with proven success as a solutions-minded business partner. Our consultative, customer - centric approach to Human Resources is vital to our success. In this role, you will have an emphasis on Staffing, Compensation & Benefits Administration, HR Legal Compliance, HR Records Management, HRIS Maintenance & Reporting, HR Business processes, Performance Management and Training & Development.

Position Responsibilities:

  • HR Business Partner: Serve as a primary HR interface between employees and managers and the company. Provide answers, coaching and counseling on HR related issues and opportunities. Ensure compliance and consistency of all company policies, procedures and practices.
  • Compensation and Benefits Administration: Compensation responsibilities include salary administration; job leveling; merit increases; and stock and bonus programs. Benefits Administration includes new employee enrollments and changes; COBRA processing; and audits.
  • HR Business Processes & Records Management: Coordinate and administer HR business processes such as leaves of absence, terminations, and changes in employee status.
  • HR Compliance: Maintain all employee data (including systems and HR records) accurately and within compliance. Maintain state and federal legal postings and notices. EEO reporting.
  • Training: Participate and support the planning and implementation of training and development initiatives within the organization, including New Hire Orientation, basic management training, and other training as necessary.
  • Performance Management: Responsible for planning, coordination, and administration of annual focal review process.
  • Special HR projects and initiatives as required; for example, policy development.


Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Management/Administration with emphasis in Human Resources Management or equivalent education, training and experience.
  • 6-8 years of progressive HR experience with at least 3 years as a Senior HR Generalist in a high tech environment.
  • Strong knowledge of California and federal employment law.
  • Strong analytical experience with sound business acumen.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication; presentation; and facilitation skills.
  • Must have the ability to exercise appropriate discretion when working with confidential and sensitive information.
  • Individual must be organized; flexible; a team player; results and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to manage a multiplicity of activities with ever-changing priorities.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a focus on the bottom line.
  • Experience with organizational development, training, and compensation planning preferred
