Job Description:
As the Corporate Training Manager you will be responsible for communicating the company vision and strategic direction by creating scalable and effective learning solutions that supports a wide audience across all levels of the organization. You must be a passionate information conduit to staff and vendors. You will be responsible for creating, updating and delivering effective training that reinforces the company’s business objectives. You will apply your technical expertise in managing the creation of powerful learning solutions that enable staff and business partners to achieve greater success.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
· Develop understanding of key business drivers and how to translate those into effective training programs that develop skill levels
· Coordinate all activities related to the planning, development, delivery and organization of training programs including field based trainings and online learning programs
· Build and demonstrate understanding of company initiatives, style and culture
· Implement training schedule and manage organization of sessions/workshops
· Use and apply computer-based learning tools and methods into programs. Be an expert in applying current and successful technology tools and platforms in delivery and management. Use creative techniques in blending different e-learning strategies with traditional training methods to maximize learning
· Work closely with operational and management staff, fostering strong relationships and departmental support
· Be a proactive resource to staff, providing coaching to staff during training and in-between sessions
· Create evaluations of trainings to be provided after all sessions, tracking effectiveness and messaging and make recommended refinements and feedback to operational staff
· Continually review and update sessions and materials
Required Skills and Experience
· Bachelor’s degree preferred
· Minimum of 3-5 years experience in creative development of training programs and program management both in e-learning and in-person environments
· Thorough understanding and documented implementation of adult learning principles
· Excellent computer skills and a deep understanding of technology and computer based learning tools
· Exceptional verbal, written, presentation, teaming and interpersonal skills
· Ability to balance short term goals with strategic vision
· Ability to work well under pressure of meeting deadlines and to set priorities
· Strong sense of initiative and autonomy
· Advanced presentation and facilitation skills
· Ability to excel in a team based environment fostering high integrity
· Highly evolved interpersonal, organization and management skills
· Ability to candidly self evaluate success of implemented programs and enthusiastically participate in program effectiveness audits along side management staff
· Coaching experience
