Product Manager

CBS Interactive is seeking a Product Manager to contribute to and implement its roadmap for next-generation digital entertainment and advertising experiences. The ideal candidate will possess an entrepreneurial sensibility and a track record of delivering products that meet targets for schedule and growth.
The candidate should have good technical capabilities and be well- versed in the online medium and its current emphasis on dynamic infrastructures, lean development cycles, and the growing import of social and gaming platforms.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Is responsible for the strategic roadmap, guiding a team of online experience designers
· Interacts with disparate teams throughout CBS and CBS Interactive including marketing, sales, and technology to develop product plans and strategic requirements
· Determines Product Lifecycles; brings new products to successful launch and evolves products in response to market demands and acceptance
· Stays abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and competitive developments
· Champions and evangelizes the Entertainment & Lifestyle product set to the advertising sales teams, providing detailed product plans and enticing product offers for advertising clients
· Collaboratively authors technical requirements and functional specifications, detailing new products, product enhancements, or product retirements
· Collaborates with partners to implement and manage technical product features; supports ongoing partner relationships, and addresses issues related to product malfunctions
· Develops, manages, and reports metrics for growth of the products
· Creates presentations and evangelizes ideas
· Successfully manages multiple projects; comfortable in a highly dynamic environment
· Uses a diplomatic approach with internal and external partners and customers; good written and verbal communication and organizational skills
Build strong working relationships with coworkers, direct reports(if applicable), cusmers (internal and external), and company management
Qualifications
Knowledge of and interest in online media, mobile media, emerging interactive technologies, and online marketing; 3-5 years of experience in product management, product marketing, or technology project management with an understanding of consumer research, product strategy, and online promotion.
Must be self-motivated, entrepreneurial, detail-oriented, challenged by accountability, and an innovator.
BS/BA (or equivalent training and experience) required. MBA preferred.
