Software Engineer, Web Applications and Systems – Oodle Inc.

The Role: We are looking for software engineers at all levels to create new features for our classifieds search product. Platform engineers work on a wide variety of front-end, middle-tier, and back-end components in a variety of languages, within a Linux environment.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Architect and develop efficient, scalable, and robust web services platforms.
• Work closely with other engineers in a small informal team environment.
• Contribute to the overall design and architecture of the Oodle platform.

Requirements:

• BS or MS in Computer Science.
• A passion for building great software and pride in the quality of your programming.
• Strong skills in at least two of the following: Java, PHP, C++.
• Startup mentality (self-starter, proactive, flexible).
• Experience working on a large-scale consumer website applications strongly preferred.
