We are looking for a Sr Level Microsoft Desktop Deployment and Optimization professional with a passion for, and in-depth experience in, designing, building, deploying and supporting large world-class enterprise-level Microsoft solutions.

This position will include responsibility for:

·       Providing pre-sales, post sales and implementation services for clients

·       Providing senior technical leadership through all project stages for small and large scale desktop management deployments, migrations, virtualization and core infrastructure deployment utilizing the latest Microsoft technologies

Requirements:

Architect Team Lead with experience in the following:

Windows desktop deployment, migration assessment, design & implementation.

·       Consultancy, Vendor and large Enterprise experience

·       The required experience is expected to be with large/Enterprise customer engagements:

o   Experience with SCCM/SMS and SCOM/MOM, including assessment, design, pilot upgrades/implementations

o   Knowledge of application virtualization solutions such as Microsoft Application Virtualization (SoftGrid/App-V) or Microsoft Enterprise Desktop (Med-V).

o   Experience with automated deployment methodologies (e.g., ZTI) and application packaging / distribution

o   Proficiency with scripting languages, multiple packaging / deployment applications, and distribution methods

o   Experience with MS application compatibility toolkit (ACT 5) and similar Vista and/or Windows 7 tools such as ChangeBase.

o   Windows7/Vista Image Deployment

o    Business Desktop Deployment (BDD 2007)

·       And/or

o   Microsoft Deployment Toolkit 2010

·       MS Windows Server 2003/2008

·       Microsoft Desktop Optimization Pack (MDOP) experience required

·       Knowledge of MS security (Patch Management)

·       Experience with Altiris or LANDesk would be a plus

·       Active Directory and Exchange experience would be a plus

·       Novell experience a plus

Additional experience/tasks for this position:

·       Superior customer facing and technical skills including ability to develop “trusted advisor” relationship with Enterprise customers

·       Project Management experience a plus

·       Assessment of customer's environment prior to migration.

·       Project plan development.

·       Documentation for migration plan.

·       Development of deployment and test plans.

·       Experience working as a team leader within a process/project-oriented organization.

·       Significant experience within a large scale Windows Enterprise customer/employer

·       Experience with software package builds for use with GPO deployment methods

·       Methodical approach to problem solving and resolution.

·       Self-driven and resourceful to achieve goals independently as well as work well in groups.

·       Flexibility to adjust to changing requirements, schedules and priorities.

·       The ability to socialize ideas, make recommendations and gather team consensus to move forward.

·       The Consultant must be able to effectively communicate both orally and in writing to technical and non-technical audiences at all levels in an organization; develop procedural documentation; develop and conduct effective presentations; effectively demonstrate products and solutions; and be able to write customer proposals

Education/Certifications:

MCSE

Bachelors degree, technical degree or equivalent experience

Additional certifications in operating systems, databases and programming languages a plus
