Intuit is looking for a Staff Software Engineer, who will be owning the product development responsibilities of Macintosh line of tax software leveraging Apple’s Cocoa technology. This person will work closely with development team, product manager, customer support team, customer experience teams and services teams. Successful candidate will be customer oriented, results driven and passionate about building software solutions on Macintosh platform and its eco-system.

Skills needed are of software development (requirements definition, design, implementation, and unit testing). Additionally, this position will involve prototyping and proof-of-concept using bleeding-edge Apple technologies. This project will demand people who have the flexibility & versatility to identify innovative solutions to technical challenges and customer problems, and then contribute to the production-quality build-out.

You may participate on cross-functional teams in developing end-to-end solutions that address customer needs in innovative ways. You will ensure that work done complies with requirements, architectural context, and design. This position collaborates with and influences other engineers, software architects, and managers to solve complex challenges spanning multiple software architectures.

 

 BS or MS in Computer Science or related field.

• Programming in the Objective-C/Cocoa environment.
