We have an opening for an energetic web UI expert with experience building enterprise applications that leverage Flex, AJAX, JavaScript, and other web technologies to transform the user experiences in Intuit's flagship TurboTax® Online web product.

As part of the TurboTax® Online team you’ll be driving critical changes to our client framework and our customer’s experience by developing AJAX and Flex components. You’ll also contribute to the evolution of the product framework by integrating with new services and helping to define a platform strategy for incorporating new technologies that will enable us to move faster and create more in-product tests. The ideal candidate will have a background developing both rich web experiences and server-side components leveraging enterprise Java or C++, along with an aptitude to adapt and leverage new technologies quickly.

 

- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years industry experience
- 2+ years web development experience
- 2+ years Java experience
- Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, AJAX, JavaScript, and Flex/Flash
- Experience developing large-scale, highly available, high-performance systems
- Must have a working knowledge of Object Oriented design principles and design patterns
- Able to design, develop, implement, debug, and document enterprise applications in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with C++, Tomcat, JBoss, Maven, Oracle, Ant, or Perforce a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be self-motivated and able to drive software development projects across a range of business and technical teams
- Proven ability to deliver solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations while making sound decisions about short and long term tradeoffs
- Demonstrate business judgment, initiative, creativity, and innovation to drive breakthrough solutions
- Must thrive in a fun team environment
