Technical Advertising Operations Consultant
Position Summary:
ChoiceStream seeks an energetic Advertising Operations Consultant to provide campaign definition and ongoing operational support for key accounts for ChoiceStream’s online advertising product and behavioral targeting solution. He/she will work closely with Professional Services colleagues as well as the Advertising Business team to ensure the success of campaigns throughout the entire advertising lifecycle.
Ideally this position is based out of ChoiceStream’s Cambridge, MA office in Kendall Square.
Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
- Receive and review advertiser inputs including tracking IDs, creatives, impressions and click tags and landing pages
- Document campaign definition for external parties
- Assign zone IDs, visual Ids, advertiser Ids, template names and ChoiceStream CIDs
- Review zone, visual and advertiser IDs with Analytics team and incorporate feedback
- Create and maintain the campaign log
- Perform functional and technical quality assurance tests on servers, browsers and other ChoiceStream variables in the templates as part of configuration and in the staging environment
- Set up production test page and review ads in production ad test page
- Draft documentation for ongoing internal reference, training and support
- Work with product development to ensure future customer needs are met
Requirements:
The role demands a team player with strong interpersonal skills as well as the ability to organize and prioritize tasks for rapid delivery. Qualifications include:
- 1 to 3 years of experience in online advertising operations or an online retail setting
- Prior experience with advertising systems, including ad serving, creative assembly of ad targets, behavioral targeting systems, and campaign management tools
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Impeccable organizational skills and detail orientation
- Innate technical inclination and proficiency in HTML, Flash, JavaScript strongly preferred
- Strong MS Office skills with an emphasis on Excel and experience using command tools
- Prior QA experience preferred
- Bachelors degree or relevant experience
- Prior success in an entrepreneurial/start-up environment
