This role will report to the Vice President of Technology Strategy. The role will encompass the following but not excluded to: • Support the development (together with the VP , IT Strategy Global Business Travel) of the technology strategy and roadmap for Business travel products, platforms and services going forward.
• Support the creation and implementation of a roadmap that allows us to unite internal and external facing BT proprietary platforms to enhance the value of our services to clients, to reduce cost and to drive incremental revenue.
• In your region, be the customer face of technology strategy and vision in partnership with sales and client management, and to develop ways of building our ability to sell our technology story more effectively.
• Coordinate Projects and Initiatives between SDN (Operations) and Client Facing Technology (Product Management and Marketing) and support IT Governance. • Coordinate your activities with your reporting line and your peers.
• Create competitive advantage in business travel products globally by delivering on innovation vision – uniting the vision across internal and external products and bringing cohesiveness to the mid term plans.
• Defining the longer term ‘step change’ in business necessary to win your customer from a tactical level to a strategic level • Help American Express Business Travel to offer industry differentiating technology strategy consulting and advise.
