This position requires the ability to direct a variety of diverse ' and sometimes conflicting ' requests, priorities, and activities. Candidate would ideally have experience with project and process management of initiatives that not only encompass technology deliverables, but also close collaboration between functional groups. Candidates will need mature management experience combined with the flexibility to interact with people at all levels.
Responsibilities:
' Managing a content management system for online creative content and in multiple formats and languages.
' Manage Search and Web Site Navigation Systems
' Manage web-based content management delivery system
' Manage Vendor Relationships
' Work with clients to define new content and merchandising needs, approaches and direction.
' Define Strategy and Road Map for Content and Merchandising Team
' Manage the tactical delivery of the technology solutions and provide architectural leadership over those solutions
' Identify and provide appropriate technology staff career paths throughout the organization
Responsibilities:

' 10+ years experience in software design and web development Demonstrated solid understanding of web-based content management systems and presentation technologies
' 5 years of management experience with a proven track record of managing large teams of technical people
' Demonstrated passion for the Internet and the direction it is moving.
' Understanding of conceptual technical architecture
' Be able to lead a cross functional team of people in the analysis and selection of new tools or vendors that will help support the content and merchandising functions of the company.
' Mapping out workflows for content lifecycle management processes involving approvals that the platform needs to support.
' Experience with on-site search systems
' Experience managing internal staff and external resources.
' Excellent team skills: communication, organization, collaboration.
' Strong Project Management skills.
' 5 years of management experience with a proven track record of managing large teams of technical people
