Provide technical expertise to your immediate team and to group on all of the following:

  • Software architecture (e.g. stand-alone applications, client-server applications, distributed applications, services-oriented architecture, enterprise service bus, web 2.0 architectures, etc.)
  • software development methodologies (e.g. Waterfall, Iterative, Agile, etc.)
  • software quality assurance (e.g. unit-testing techniques and frameworks, integration testing techniques and frameworks, system testing techniques and frameworks, user-acceptance testing techniques, continuous integration methods, static analysis, dynamic analysis, etc.)
  • software performance analysis and tuning techniques
  • software development best practices (e.g. design patterns, algorithms, etc.)
  • data modeling and information architecture (e.g. database design, data mining techniques, Wikis, etc.)
  • assisting in the interviewing of all technical personnel (e.g. developers and technical project managers, etc.)

Mentor others within the organization in all of the areas listed above (e.g. share knowledge)
Continuous professional development (e.g. you have to stay on the cutting-edge in order to provide the best value to the organization)
Be a team player and assist in any and all endeavors where you can across the organization

  • Expert knowledge in J2EE, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), middleware technologies, messaging frameworks, and web services standards
  • Knowledge and experience designing and developing Enterprise Service Bus/ SOA /Integration Tier
  • Architecture (Web Services, J2EE, JMS, EAI, MQ, SOA Business Activity Monitoring)
  • Experience and knowledge integrating components/systems built with J2EE technologies.
  • Experience in architecting enterprise level systems with Java Application server technology (e.g. Websphere / Oracle10gAS)
  • Experience with simple object access protocol (SOAP) and web services
