Who You Are

You’re a highly qualified Senior Software Automation Engineer who has a strong background in software engineering, testing frameworks and automation who is ready to implement our automated testing strategy.

You will be responsible for working with the QA Director to create an implementation plan.  You will then build the framework, implement the automated test scripts, and execute the test scripts and test cases for project releases. You will also be responsible for planning for further automation, coordination with development and QA, and monitoring of automated testing.

You have at least three (3) years of automated testing experience and five (5) years of overall QA experience with web-based applications.  You are team-oriented and are willing to pitch in on all QA work items.  You’ve collaborated with development and other QA specialists to release high quality software.
 
You are a flexible, self-motivated team player with excellent oral and written communication skills. 

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain master test automation plans for software project releases
• Own the overall test automation process and ensure the testing methods meet project specifications
• Coordinate the design and planning of automated test architecture and implementations
• Develop, maintain and upgrade automated test scripts, utilities, data sets and other test tools required to execute test plans
• Effectively communicate testing activities and outcomes
• Work closely with software engineers to improve automation of unit tests
• May mentor and/or train other team members in automation processes, methods, tools and best practices

Desired Skills

• At least three (3) years of automated testing experience and five (5) years of overall QA experience required
• Experience with automated testing of a web-based application is required
• Strong JavaScript skills are required
• Experience with JIRA and Perforce preferred
• Your testing experience should include:

o SQL database driven, web-based software applications
o multi-language software applications
o testing against a Microsoft-based environment

• Must be authorized to work in the US on a permanent basis
