Communispace has created and managed more than 300 private online communities for some of the most successful customer-focused organizations in the world.  Our communities are made up busy moms and road warrior travelers to high net worth investors and corporate IT Managers.  Community members are the lifeblood of our online communities and in this position you will directly support our online community member recruitment process from a technical and analytical perspective.

You’re the kind of person who always has Excel open on your computer and you can finesse data (numbers and text) with various macros and "shortcuts."  In this role, you will use your superb analytical and technical skills to ensure efficient and effective data management throughout the recruiting lifecycle across multiple applications and data management tools.  You will configure, set up, and manage the data lifecycle in support of the member recruiting process, and ensure appropriate integration and validation throughout the process.  The position works closely with Communispace’s Member Recruiting team members to design and program data workflow tools, and to configure various system applications to ensure data accuracy throughout the lifecycle.

What You'll Do

Responsibilities:  

• Configure and manage a member data lifecycle supporting efficient, effective, and accurate workflow.
• Create complex Excel data reports from transactional systems for analysis and client specific support.
• Set up, maintain and monitor various existing system applications to ensure capability, functionality and data integrity.
• Analyze, recommend and initiate new technological and business solutions to improve efficiency and quality.
• Program screening surveys with complex logic (using survey application), and configure output of data sets to perform the creation of summary tables, updates, and data manipulation.
• Interface with other business and technical areas as needed to support automation and process improvements.
• Identify opportunities for improved standardization, efficiencies and increased value to department, client and partners processes.
• Perform other assignments at the request of management

Desired Skills

Qualifications:

• Minimum of three to four years experience in data manipulation, analysis and interpretation, ideally in the marketing services industry.
• Bachelor’s degree, potentially but not required in computer science or information systems from an accredited college or university. 
• Deep knowledge of Excel for data calculation and manipulation applications.
• Knowledge of structured query language (SQL) a plus.
• Demonstrated results from applying curiosity and problem solving skills to data issues.
• Ability to understand and apply the client business issues to the data manipulation.
