TaskUs, a small buiness outsourcing start up, is currently hiring a PHP/MySQL programmer. The person in this position will help design, develop, and maintain TaskUs' business service websites. This is a START UP! Lot's of responsibility, lot's of fun, zero glamour.

Job Description and Responsibilities (Daily Tasks and Expectations)

  • HTML, JAVA, PHP, MySQL programming for TaskUs.com and other business service sites
  • Developing algorithms
  • Knowledge of Flash is a plus but not required

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Must be excited by the idea of working for a start up
  • Advanced knowledge of PHP, MySQL and JavaScript
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines
  • A high level of initiative and a strong commitment to job knowledge, productivity, and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work on several projects simultaneously
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Locals only: Applicants must be able to work onsite in our Santa Monica office
