Senior Manager of Corporate Communications

Quantcast is seeking a highly motivated individual to join the Marketing Services team who will be responsible for leading the company’s broad corporate communications initiatives. This role will provide a unique opportunity for qualified individuals to build integrated communication strategies at both a corporate, and product level within a fast growing media services company.
We are seeking an individual who has a proven record of delivering breakthrough and accountable PR, web, conference/event, and general communications activities. A solid understanding of the Internet (including online advertising sales, distribution, audience measurement, and technical implementation) is a must.
This is an opportunity to be the key marketing and communications contributor at a dynamic company that’s transforming current online media paradigms. This position demands an exceptionally creative and dynamic communications professional.
Role:
· Public face of Quantcast to the press, event/conference community, broader industry, and “virtual communities”
· Primary communications strategist for all external corporate and product positioning
· Internal expert/consultant to execs, product and development teams on messaging and positioning alternatives
Responsibilities:
· Quickly develop into “spokesperson” for the company (not on panels, but able to speak on the record with the press)
· In conjunction with CMO and founders, develop strategic communications plan to support and rapidly grow Quantcast awareness, adoption and leadership position
· Work closely with product teams to develop ideal positioning strategy, and marketing materials
· Ensure consistent, solutions oriented communications throughout channel plan
· Manage all agency/consultant relationships (related to marcom activities)
· Develop Quantcast, and exec team, as a priority resource for Tier A media covering the advertising, marketing, and digital media space
· Lead development, distribution and outreach related to all Quantcast and joint press releases (will include growing involvement with top media company corp. comm. groups)
· Oversee and manage event/conference scheduling and activities
· Oversee and manage web site marketing components (including blog, and 3rd party column/blog posts)
· Oversee and manage development of corporate, and product level sell sheets and case studies (with research, biz dev and product support)
· Develop and implement scalable tracking, analysis, and reporting tools for all corp. comm. activities
· Build self-service (internal) resources for growing company
· With success, build, grow and manage a NY/SF-based team
Qualifications:
· 7+ years marketing service experience in the advertising, media or internet sectors
· Deep experience either managing, or working within a PR agency
· Demonstrated ability to build and lead teams
· Internet savvy and proficient in office productivity tools, especially Salesforce
· Deep understanding of PR/news cycle
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· Propensity to adapt to changing environments
· Must be able to multi-task and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
· Ability to handle projects of sensitive or urgent nature in a professional/timely manner
· Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours (if necessary) to accomplish business objectives
Reporting Structure:
Will report directly to the CMO.
