This position involves in depth knowledge of content delivery networks and value added services. The analyst must be able to converse technically with customer support teams and the ChinaCache network operation center (NOC) which handles all technical fulfillment for customers. The position involves a great deal of international correspondence with business development, sales and technical support staff engineers to identify correct implementation for customers. Commonly this involves mapping out all known and potential issues in connecting customer’s service and equipment (servers) with ChinaCache’s network in China, and how to address such issues as well as diagnostic tools for both internal and external use to the customer to plan the pipeline and start of service.


The primary responsibilities are to handle and address inbound and current customer technical requirements and ability communicate any issues and suggest possible solutions to key stakeholders both within the company and directly to the customer.

Fluency in English required and Mandarin Chinese preferred (written/spoken).

 

Key Areas of Responsibility include:
• Accept, qualify, and close technical provisioning for customers: Includes ability to propose specific caching, download acceleration or network and internet data center service directly to sales and or customers; create and plan timeline for provisioning with NOC and headquarters, execute technical deliverables such as 3rd party (GOMEZ) and self governing tests and performance.
• Have sufficient technical understanding to articulate and demonstrate the value proposition
• Able to compare value proposition of ChinaCache services with other CDN providers.
• Maintain all documents used for mapping out products and services available for sales including: Web Caching, Internet Data Center collocation and hosting, IP transit and download capabilities
• Assist with marketing campaigns to identify and qualify new leads
• Coordinate technical timelines with China team.
