Client Side Development Manager

We are offering a unique opportunity for an experienced and ambitious person to direct the client-side development strategy for guardian.co.uk and all related Guardian News & Media properties. This will also involve managing the client side development team, ensuring working practices are appropriate to the needs of the business and supporting them to provide new and innovative work. Additionally you will troubleshoot development process problems and ensure solutions are implemented. 

Experience of coaching and managing client-side developers is a must, as is a strong understanding of HTML, CSS, templating and Action Script design and practices. You will be part of the team that supports the technology behind our award winning website so an excellent understanding of website operations is key. In addition to exceptional communication skills you should also be able to demonstrate a collaborative approach to work.
